Welcome cptjustice. I hope you manage to get your hands on some of the US 2000AD trades and as far as I am aware 2000AD and the Meg (which is very good at the moment) are available in US stores.

I think the last t-shirt at the bottom of the page on this link might interest you. I'm pretty certain that it's the cover from the first issue of the Eagle re-prints. I used to buy them here in the UK oddly enough, so unless they changed covers over here this might jog some memories for you.
