Sorry to sound as thick as a perp from Louis Walsh Block, but can anyone tell me how to add a profile pic/avatar? Can't find a bean of information around here

To sort out your avatar, click on 'profile' then 'forum profile' and that should take you to where you need to be, to get going.

Click on your Profile, it's just under the NEWS section at the top of the page.
Then you will see two areas under where your avatar should be (just above Summary), Profile Info and Modify Profile. Move the cursor on Modify and you scroll down onto Forum Profile and click and away you go

Yeah, when I click on my name from a post, rather than taking me to a profile section, I get an 'AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED' message.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've got the same thing -- I think because we're both new we've got to let our profiles 'settle in' before we can muck about with them.

Yeah its an anti-spam and pest control thing. As the saying goes someone will be along shortly to sort you out. In the mean time we don't care that you're naked just jump in and discuss the good stuff.

Thanks for the info, I managed to find the moderators' notes about having to wait a while to get full access to accounts. Hopefully won't be too much longer before I can access my full profile!
