I haven't posted on this board in months. Life and such. Things are better now. I hope to make it up to you with this, the first of my 'Best of 2012' posts. These seemed to go over well last year...in fact, it's how I got involved with this board in the first place. Anyways, here goes, with Best Collections/Translations/Reprints

Good stuff, Evil. 

(On the 2000AD front I think Brass Sun and ABC Warriors were highlights, and there were very few clunkers at all in what was for me one of the strongest years ever).

Assuming there hasn't, why on Earth hasn't there been a braille issue of Daredevil?

Personally I've got to give 2000 AD the edge over DHP. I thought Brass Sun was brill, though Age of the Wolf 2 was definitely a big let down.

Over on DHP however, I've been having significant concerns about their process of publishing 3-part stories with intent to reprint them as a one-shot comic. That's fine, but I was really hoping for more long form serials like Finder and Marked Man. And its just been lacking. Add that in with some serious clunkers like Concrete Park (which for my want of long form serials, was just.... not very good) and DHP has been a lot weaker then it was last year. IMO.

That's the thing that's kept me away from DHP this time around (used to love it back in the day) everything I really want seems to get realised, or is just foreshadowing a series. Understand why they do it but at that price tag its enough to stop me getting on board.
