The Adventurer

I've been getting into Empowered recently (thanks iPad) and have been liking it an awful lot. Good to know it continues to be good. Warren is a pretty good artist, yes?

No 2000 AD GNs though? Absalom: Ghosts of London would make any top graphic novel list of mine for the year.

Re: Warren. Yes. Absolutely yes.

Re: graphic novels. Agreed on the Absalom, and a few others. But technically they don't fit the rules I set for the category, as they have been previously printed. They would technically fit into the reprint category, but for that I usually pick collections that either haven't seen the light of day in a long time, or have some sort of deluxe or absolute format.

The Adventurer

My favorite web comic of last year was probably Monster Pulse.

With The Adventures of Dr. McNinja, Mark Waid's Insufferable, and Oglaf (warning very nsfw) very close behind

I will definitely check out Monster Pulse. Looks fun!

I didn't dig the first few chapters of Insufferable, but I've been meaning to go back and see if I can get it into it now. I never could get into Dr. McNinja, but Oglaf looks kind of awesome.
