Boring Itunes Help Request

Hi all. I'm having a bit of difficulty and I was wondering if anyone could help. I have all my songs on a pc. I have an ipad. I want to create a playlistism on my pc to transfer to an ipod to be played at a children's disco. The pc is in a cold part of my house. Ideally I want to know if it is possible to create a play list using the ipad.I have turned on home sharing and I have downloaded the remote app onto the ipad which appears to allow me to play the songs on my pc. I can't see a way to create a playlistism which will appear on the pc. Is it possible?
