Really not bad at all, is it?  I like the
serial number
.

Bat King

I've read it. I'm embargoed from sharing till Tuesday...  :(

Enjoyed it and will be publishing my review on Tuesday as per embargo & popping in to OK Comics Wednesday to get my pre-ordered paper copy.

Enjoyed it

Both that sentiment and the extended preview are quite promising.
I've pre-ordered the Coin Wilson cover version for pick-up Wednesday.

The Enigmatic Dr X

I think those few pages are more Rogue-y that the first few pages of the IDW Dredd were Dredd-y.

I liked the roaches.

Bat King

Yeah it is much more in keeping than the ongoing Judge Dredd title. Remember the IDW Judge Dredd: Year One was brilliant.

I do discuss the differences and I mention at least one thing not in the preview pages so I've marked it Spoiler Light.

My Preview is now up n running - written last night and scheduled for 13:00 today - you can read it here. The preview pages will be the same you've seen elsewhere

I liked the roaches.

I'm guessing they're in there to prefigure the reveal that Bagman is also a big metal cockroach.  And for the general gruesomeness, of course!

Having said that, the fact Rogue has to go back to resupply doesn't support the idea of Bagman having mobility to gather up bits.  That doesn't mean he's not mobile, though, just that it's not the reason why he's mobile.

I'd still like to see him scavenging - it's a great idea.

I've just read this and I have to say, I'm really, really impressed. An excellent, action packed first issue.
Art wise, some panels look a little dodgy but in general I really like it. Rogue looks really lithe and wirey and is quite scary in the main battle scene - like a sort of GM Begbie.
I'd definitely recommend this to new readers.

Yep, read this last night- and while I'm not completely sold (in much the same way as I was never completely sold on the actual original Rogue strip in 2000ad), I've happily added it to my monthly list. It did seem very short, and the redesign of his stuff (notably the helmet) grates a little, but on the whole it was far more exciting than any of the "recent" attempts to reignite the strip in the prog. Much better than their Dredd, and I hope it sells by the bucketload.
