Where's the header gone?

Hi, I am new today to the forum and without the header I have no idea how to sort out my profile and add avatar....any ideas?

there should be a menu bar at the top:

HOME   HELP   PROFILE   MY MESSAGES   MEMBERS   LOGOUT

Click on Profile to get to your settings - however you won't be able to add a profile pic or post in certain threads until the mods have fully activated your account. This is to weed out spammers and trolls, but once you've made several posts in the general sections and proved you're not a robot or a loon (well, comparatively speaking  ) you'll get full access.

Ahhh that explains it.  I only have Home Help My Messages and Logout at the moment.   

I do hope I get to have full Profile access only sorted myself out with a snazzy badge as an avatar - now just need a suitable quote thingy (always was good at English!) to sign off with .....maybe
