COMMANDO FORCES

How many times have we came up with all these lovely ideas, only for the licence to kill them all, especially as we know the sales would never justify such a licence and it kills me to say that.

Obviously it's up to one of you creative types to invent a game, show it to Rebellion and if they say YES, then put me down for one ;)

Hmmm.... A trivia game seems like something that could be crowdsourced and put together by the hive-mind on this board.

I'd quite like a Top Trumps set like the Marvel ones that Waddingtons released in the late 80s.
That could be crowd sourced easily but the sticking point is always balancing the categories and making sure the information is accurate (the modern Marvel Trumps I've seen have been pretty rubbish in this regard).

So could a Risk one!

Based on one of the Dredd-Universe world maps?

Quite so old bean. My suggestions are illustrative of the scope rather than actual serious suggestions.

Working with Mongoose a playable board game similar to Risk! or History of the World, etc (there are lots of this kind of thing) could easily be put together. A version for Dredd, Rogue, ABC Warriors, Dante would easily be created once the basic game is done.

A Monopoly or other city/life orientated game is similarly doable.

I will put serious thought to this and see if I can come up with a good idea to put to Rebellion. Don't hold your breath could take a while. I have two Board/RPG/Card game-designer buddies in mind to work with.

This may have popped up elsewhere on the board, but this custom Dredd figure is brill. Shame the price is so stupid. The phrase "hasn't a snowballs chance" springs to mind.

summat like this would be nice!

wich I have just realised Russell posted ....how much?
don't get into an argument with an idiot,he'll drag you down to his level then win with experience.

judgerussell

£90 is just way too much for a figure. Even if it is nice, it better be made of gold, or have been up Miley Cyrus for that price!!!!!
