They're doing pretty well on raising funds so far - not sure how sustainable the joke is over a longer running time is though.

I believe it's only 30 minutes which is about as long as it should be. It wil only become feature length if they make $1 milion which I doubt will happen. Raising $200,000 for a short is impressive.

That belongs in the 2000ad Copyright Infringement thread. They've blatantly ripped off the idea of travelling back in time and getting off with a sexy Viking partner from Strontium Dog.

Judge Nutmeg

IT'S HERE!
Awesome. Really surprised they managed to sustain the daftness of the trailer over the full running time.
Laser raptor
!

Second best film with the word Fury in the title that I've seen this week.
We never really die.

Damn straight. It's easily the best Rutger Hauer film with the word blind in the title.
We never really die.

NapalmKev

Watched Kung Fury last night. It's ok, the first 15 mins are quite funny but 30 mins seemed to stretch the joke a bit too far.
It gets bonus points for having David Hasslehoff in it.

Cheers

Hawkmumbler

Awesome! Loved every second of that! Bit why was I reminded of this...

Tiplodocus

Me and Tiny Tips chuckled heartily through most of that. (Except Hoff - I am too old to get this liking of him. I assume it's ironic but he just ruins everytging he goes near)
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

The line from the boss made me cringe.

I guess it was a Gene Hunt moment, but without a Sam Tyler equivalent to rebut it, it felt a bit off.

Stretched too thin for me, I did like the team line up at the end though, and Triceracops obsession.

It is off. Viagra didn't exist in the 1980s.
