Judge Dredd in Germany

I was wondering if there never have been any plans to bring Judge Dredd to Germany? Does anyone know? It is such a great comic yet it seems that there are no plans for expansion. I would like to buy the Megazine from a german store.

It's amazingly hard to get (british) Dredd here in the U.S.

Does Diamond ship to Germany? If so, you could have your local store order the monthly packs of 2000AD & the Megazine.  Maybe you can pre-order from DCBS.com, I think they ship to Germany.

Somehow I doubt that a store could order the magazine because I haven't seen any Judge Dredd related content for about 15 years. There must be a reason for that since here you get any other foreign comic you can think of except Judge Dredd.

There are many comic fans in Germany who would like to get 2000ad, or the Megazine, but it looks like Rebellion is not really interested on the german market.

Thankfully there are also the digital versions.

The website is dcbservice.com.  They provide a great service, and so does mailordercomics.com.  Both companies, and any LCS that orders through Diamond can get both the progs and the Meg... though you'll be a few weeks behind our friends in the UK.  I've gone on and off for years getting the physical copies.  I'm now fairly committed to digital though, and while Tharg isn't fond of publicizing it, getting the CBZ files using the subscription service from clickwheel.net has been the saved the day for establishing a conduit to the galaxy's greatest comic.

it looks like Rebellion is not really interested on the german market.

If you have a local comic book store they can order them direct from any international distributor, who they'd have to deal with anyway to buy American comics. We don't distribute directly overseas and never have.

If there was indeed a big enough market we'd have heard from a native publishing company wishing to do a foreign language version by this point, like we have with Brazil:

Reading Dredd stories in german is a terrifying thought. I'm happy with the original, thank you

I'm too busy to buy this for you until February, but maybe someone else from Germany could. And I would recommend to ask the seller if this is indeed the german comic, and for more pictures.
