Pop Culture Bandit

This year was the year I begun actively reading and reviewing 2000AD, so to celebrate a near-complete year of reviews, I thought it would be neat to list the Top Ten Covers that had appeared - ironically, two of which appeared prior to my coverage of the comic, but thanks to 'Barney', I was able to see the awesome covers I had missed out on at the start of the year.

Please check out my Top Ten here > http://popculturebandit.blogspot.com/2013/12/top-ten-2000ad-covers-in-2013.html

And either comment on the blog, or in this thread with your thoughts and own versions of the list.

Happy New Year!

1854 is my personal fave but 1836 is undeniably stunning and is a great design.

Can't argue with no 1! The best covers are iconic with great art too. Just like Leigh's.

Some brave choices there, Jamie.

Nice to see you included Nick Percival's much talked about cover. I absolutely loved that one.

Your number 1 cover might not be my choice as best ( I went for Dave Kendall's one) nonetheless it's a damn good cover by the great Leigh Gallagher. You should drop him a mail via his blog, I'm sure he'd be delighted. He's a top bloke our Leigh!

And that Glenn Fabry's Anderson cover......how good is that?!!

Where the hell is Wells.  Polishing his KTT, probably.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

I'm glad you share my love for Prog 1836 too!

Thanks for the suggestion, Mabs, I'll drop Leigh a message! :)

I WILL be doing the annual prog vote guys, it'll be up by the end of the week.

I've had a super busy Christmas and an Xbox One to contend with :)

Some nice covers there.  I do like the Leigh Gallagher one - it looks great on the paper prog but is really stunning on the ipad.

I did like the Prog 1830 cover if not only for the vintage feel it oozed. It must have looked cool as a physical copy.
