I'm not quiet sure what an 'online party is' but from the suggestion so far I like the 'wraparound Ezquerra cover',
And
'online short story, maybe Vienna's birthday. Dolman trying to cheer her up by getting Uncle Joe round to see her in her new post-Chaos Day home. '

If its an online 'live' sort of a thing, live sketching, or sketches by request by Droids and the most popular made into a future cover?

Next 37 years, pitch story/art/character comp?

Most party's I'm at this weather involves cake, so I'd like some booze at this party.

I don't go to many real parties anymore. Long gone the days when you'd look around and think 'oh well the cooking sherry will have to do.'. Now I discover there's a whole different sort of party that I don't understand. So in answer to the specific question "how would you like to see us celebrate" I'd answer with specific simple instructions. In answer to the second part "and what would you like to see from the online droids?" how about a nice illustrated guide as to how to make my laptop into a party.

Aside from all 37th birthday parties should involve a very practical conversation about insurance or washing machines, that leads to you feeling slightly old and wondering to a club you used to go to and now feel a little bit to old to hang around in.

How about an art competition? Something like a Future Shock style script of 1-2 pages is made available online, with entries to be posted on the board on the day of the 2000 AD's 37th Birthday. Then, the best one gets printed in the Prog at some point.

A pencil.

For some reason, I've still got that fucking pencil. The only worse gift the House of Tharg ever lavished upon me was the 12 piece jigsaw that came with the Megazine.

No pleasing some people.

A competition that includes '37' prizes (something relevant to each year of the Prog).

And maybe something special for me as my birthday is in Feb.

Cheers

A special art comp eh.......? I'd love to get in on the ground floor of that one - vote-countin' - general pimpage - I can do all that manner of stuff!

I've resolved to finish that jigsaw puzzle some day, Jim. I haven't a clue what an online party would entail, but the only parties I went to which didn't involve sexual frustration and vomiting were the ones where we all played Battleships, Guess Who? and Mario-kart before pissing our pants and crying. Some kind of 2000ad themed variant upon those seems possible, but - given the age profile of the board - maybe bingo and dominoes would be more appropriate. Just don't book a clown.

Spikes

I've still got the pencil as well (Along with the jigsaw. I like free gifts, and both of these are fine!).

I went through a period when at various Comic fairs I'd snag the pencil gift if I saw it, and ended up with a mug filled with them.

Bit pricey now on eBay. Some people charge the Earth for them.  :(

So yes, if the party involves pencils, or simply free gifts, then im in....

An online 2000ad Mastermind quiz with graphic novel prizes for the winners?

NapalmKev

How about a live-online Q & A session with the droids, and maybe Tharg himself

Cheers.
