Since I'm probably the first person here to see the weekend I thought I'd start a thread to find out what everyone is up to this weekend.

Me, I'll be reading comics, playing computer games and practicing guitar. And watch a few films. Pretty boring stuff really. Lets hope someone else has something a bit better to contribute...

who's next?

SuperSurfer

Got to head into town to a comic shop. Been so busy I've fallen behind with buying the prog for two weeks.

Other than that, cleaning, DIY, continue unpacking. Kind of mundane stuff.

Works weekends.

Being the weekend this does mean that the daily commute via train then bus is about an hour & a half each way. So reading will be involved.

Other than that, what with  the maximum daily temperature here in Adelaide beginning to peak above the 40 degrees Centigrade mark again after a brief few days' respite, not much else.
"We'll send all these nasty words to Aunt Jane. Don't you think that would be fun?"

Busy this weekend for me. Being a Welshman it will of course involve lots of 6 nations rugby!
Tonight will involve buying ingredients and starting off cooking a massive pot of chilli all whilst watching wales u20s on TV.
Tomorrow I am in work in the am, watching rugby all afternoon, then enjoying chilli and beers with family in the evening!
Sunday is more work for a few hours in the am, followed by more rugby in the afternoon with lunch then relax possibly doing some sketching before the working week starts again!!
Apart from the work part I am really looking forward to this weekend!
Oh yes......'Come on Wales!!'  :D :D

COMMANDO FORCES

My weekend started Thursday morning, which I slept through. Watched the Circus of Horrors in town last night, which was great fun. Today I'm gonna try and sort the Cellar out before I record a podcast with Flint. Then it's off to Sam's music lessons, followed by Fish 'n' Chips for tea and an evening trying to watch recorded stuff.
Saturday is 6 Nations, so I'll be watching England beat France and for the rest of the weekend until Monday night I have no idea at the moment but we may visit some historic place!

Emp

Right now I'm about to start painting figures and preparing for a new Judge Dredd rpg campaign. Also have a few scripts I need to work on. Once the beer starts flowing this will change to gaming on the pc.

This is without the chores I'm supposed to be doing like a tip run and making the room I use as an office look less of a bomb site. There's really not enough hours in the day.

Bolt-01

This weekend as it is my deadline weekend for art I'll be lettering the latest strips to be delivered for FutureQuake, Zarjaz & Dogbreath with a view to determining the running orders for all and hoping that my zarjaz cover artist doesn't let me down.

I'm also planning on watching Elysium with Micro-bolt as Mrs Bolt, Mini-Bolt and Nano-bolt are all off to that there London to see Taylor Swift.

Pyroxian

Superbowl on Sunday (so staying up late, and got the Monday off work) :). Go Broncos!

Hawkmumbler

Family out to tomorrow. Nice long gym session followed with dinner in with the other half. Sunday lunch following that. Gonna be practicing with my new Wacom and flicking through my Beetles sheet music.

ZenArcade

Younger brother got me some filmoplast archival repair tape from the states, so I'm going to have a wack at fixing up some older tatty progs. The tape is acid neutral and almost invisible so hopefully I won't make too big of a hames of the job.
Ed is dead, baby Ed is...Ed is dead

Albion

I will possibly be helping to move stuff into the home of 60's pop singer Wayne Fontana.
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

Trout

Albion wins.

I have begun my weekend by consuming gallons of beer provided by some political people. Tomorrow I will have lots of time with my amazing kids.

Life could be a lot worse.  :)

I, Cosh

Just boarding a flight to Barcelona.
We never really die.

Having spent the entire week partially submerged, slathered in silt* and perpetually soaked through, I will be endeavouring to stay dry for the next two days.  Literally if not metaphorically.

*Although happy as the proverbial pig to be so, it must be said.
