Another weekend, another round of 6 nations rugby, another load of booze and food! Out with mates in pub for the Wales game tomorrow so will probably be a bit worse for wear by early evening! Oh well Sunday to recover. :-[

The Doctor Alt 8

Last weekend I was busy performing in Panto ...

This weekend I will be trying to edit a play. Finnish writing a pantomime script and continue with another...

fretting over the heath of a friend...

wondering if I should go over my comedy routine... ( some jokes are now past it... So probably need throwing out )

I'll be playing The Elder Scrolls Online again this weekend, thanks to the early beta.  Anyone else have a beta key (or want to grab one from http://www.curse.com/news/the-elder-scrolls-online/49348-grab-your-exclusive-beta-key-for-the-elder-scrolls) and feel like teaming up?

Hawkmumbler

Oh, did I mention I WON'T be watching the Olympics? Good.  ;)

James Stacey

Ice hockey tomorrow night. A couple of viewings on my house so will need to ensure everything is tidy. I should be working on the plot for a LRP event I'm running in April but ACIV:BF arrived on my desk this morning so I may just spend the entire weekend being a pirate.

Dandontdare

Happy birthday to both CF and Sam!

I've designated February as my "getting shit done" month so I should be clearing out cupboards, sorting old clothes for chucking or charity shop and a million other little jobs that I keep putting off.

Or I may spend the weekend reading comics and playing Civ5 or Skyrim.

Emp

Still painting the bloody figures for a Dredd RPG campaign that starts tomorrow. Looks like they are going to be done as opposed to done well as I still have the rest of the preparation to complete too!

Albion

After a couple of rather difficult days I will be going to see The Albion V Doncaster Rovers.
Hopefully that will cheer me up.
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

Hope you have a good time, Albion.  You deserve it.

As for me, work!  One job finishing tomorrow, then prep for new job starting Monday, and another job to quote for.  This is all going rather too well.

ZenArcade

Liverpool/Arsenal (c'mon the 'pool), a bit of quality time with my Parents and a lot of back progs to read.

I was hoping to meet up with a friend this week sometime between Thursday and the weekend (inclusive). Particularly as I haven't seen her for over 5-6 weeks and she said we would DEFINITELY meet this week.

Then I get an apologetic text Wednesday and it seems her work had called and she's working Thursday and Saturday. (It did occur to me that still left Friday and Sunday but as she didn't mention them in the message it seems clear she won't be available those days either, despite being off work then. And I doubt she'll agree to meet after work as she will be shattered.) Not her fault - she needs the money - but I wish people wouldn't use words like 'definitely' so freely although I think she meant it when she said it.

That all being said, I'm actually looking forward to relaxing this weekend. Had little sleep last night and I could use a good lie in. I'll probably pop out to Bromley and the pub later. Been doing that quite a bit lately. (I'm not alcoholic, I don't drink more than a couple of pints.)

Oh yeah. Might clean my room too. Or make a start on it at least. It could use it. And I'd like to find that hard drive I bought to upgrade my PS3. I bought it. Then ordered the bracket to fix it in. After a palaver getting the bracket - late postage, then getting, lost and having to reorder -  it finally arrived... and I found I'd mislaid the hard-drive. Argh!

I haven't seen her for over 5-6 weeks and she said

So you'll be paying Mrs Palmer and her five lovely daughters a visit then...
