Just two covers for this issue and one is the Terminator poster, which shows that Joe dresses to the left :o

Cover A - Ulises Farinas
Subscription Cover - NAR!

SOME DREAMERS OF THE GOLDEN DREAM
By Douglas Wolk, Ulises Farinas, Ryan Hill & Tom B. Long

I didn't enjoy this as much as the first issue and that is all down to the style of the people, the backgrounds I love but the cartoon people are just not for me.

The story I would like to see a little more condensed, as it feels halfway between the typical US style and the Prog.

There are some nice moments during the strip, 'Family Man' is said which was well used and I did laugh when we see the Chief Judge watching one of his films. This panel may offend some, so avert your eyes  The penultimate page was very Mr Benn, which I'm sure many will understand when they see Dredd!

We also get to see the MC2 Judges come out in force, which made me think that they do have some deadly kit, well I hope it was deadly!

Overall, enjoyable but Dredd is just not quite there and that's just because of the way he acts some of the time.

I really liked it, and more than issue one. It was fast-paced and good fun.

Also I enjoyed the various uniforms hanging up. Did anyone else spot
Johnny Alpha's
outfit?

Picked this up today, thought  if anything it was better than the first issue.  Again it's dense, lovely, clever and holds the promise of many satisfying re-reads to come.  MC-2 feels like a real distinct place, Dredd has a legitimately different adventure, and the background machinations of the two chief judges are enjoyable.

The Farinas cover would have my top slot for non-Rebellion cover of the year, if Pete were to run such a thing.

I finished the Judge Dredd cut out figure for Mega City Two #2!

You can check out my blog to see how I went about doing it, and even catch a glimpse of Dredd
without his pants!
In those pics, when the jacket is off, it looks bloody short but when on, it looks okay. Must be an optical illusion!

Yeah I can see what you mean. He looks much broader without the jacket, and when it's on he looks slimmer, hence more proportionate. I also think Dredd looks more in tune with our Dredd than on the cover of #1. I know a lot of people said he looked too stocky there.

8-Ball

I bought the first and second issues in FP Glasgow today and while it all looks very pretty (and I am loving all the little nods to established Dredd-lore) it is hard for me to comprehend exactly what is going on. Also, and this is going to sound silly but my main gripe is that Chief Judge Goodman looks far too young.
Whatever happened to Rico, Dolman and Cadet Paris? I'm sooo out of the loop.

Here's the rest of the paper puppets I made today...

It just so happens that the 'random perp' is none other than Ulisses Farinas himself! He just confirmed it on Twitter!  :-[

At least he saw the funny side of it though!

He also changed his Facebook profile page to the pic I uploaded on my blog, top bloke!
