I wondered if anyone would be nuts enough to hack up their comic to make those figures - but I see you've got the originals safely mylar bagged, Mabs. Well done for getting recognition from the creators, and for revealing Farinas's criminal tendencies.

This series is a weird one... got round to reading issues 1 & 2 yesterday and it's not a pleasant read. I'm wondering if people's liking for the art is just appreciation of the effort put in? And giggly love of in-jokes? There's something a bit OCD about that background detail. That doesn't help the story flow and I couldn't tell you completely what's going on.

CF did sound exasperated in a podcast when asked about issue 5.It gets dafter?!

There's DEFINITELY room for wacky Dredd - see Mars Attacks or T B Grover-era - but it's not this...

I thought it was terrible. Writing was an awful incoherent mess and the art, sorry just badly suited to Dredd (He looks like a fat man reacting badly to his cancer treatment) and incapable of rendering action in any dramatic or exciting way. One or two detailed panels and splashes do not make up for overall poor ill-suited work.

When people say 'IDW's main strip is bad, the mini's are good' they are wrong re MC2:COC... its woeful.

I was trying to be positive as well. I so wanted this one to do well (more Dredd obviously) but it just didn't sit well with me in the end.

There were some nice bits all over but if I could look back at it as a whole, it was a 5 page story spread out over a hundred pages, showing different areas each issue for no reason but to just show them. Yes there were some very funny easter eggs all over the art and nods here and there but that distracted from reading the story, as there were too many of them!

Anyway, I'm sure many others loved it
