O Lucky Stevie!

"We'll send all these nasty words to Aunt Jane. Don't you think that would be fun?"

Fungus

More IDW Dreddworld, excellent.
But a bit torn. Never liked *any* Anderson beyond Death and Judge Death Lives.
Clearly film-inspired?
Talk victory - could be excellent. Will give it a try.

Fungus

Plus Indigo Prime in a couple of weeks :-)
Looking forward to that, although finding Mr Smith very hit and miss - on a weekly basis -
on a slog at the moment.

The Adventurer

Glad its some 2000AD alum doing this. Those tend to be the better IDW Dreddworld offerings.

I still probably won't get this. Pull list is kind of blotted right now.

hmmmm! Yeah Smith's Year One was good and I've always been a huge fan of Critchlow - those two pages there look grand. I'm up for this!

More 2000ad folk on things is a good sign.

Colin YNWA

Those pages by Carl Critchlow are great. With Matt Smith writing this should be one of IDW's winners.

Nice one.

That's another of the Trifecta alumni undertaking the art chores on an IDW Dreddworld book scripted by Smith - can't wait to read D'Israeli's Mean Angel solo series.  I can't begrudge Weston, Critchlow and Coleby the opportunity to work for a slightly better page rate and get some exposure to the US publishing industry, but every time I see them do stuff for IDW I just think they could have been doing something great for 2000ad instead. Henry Flint's take on Red Razors can't be far away.

Critchlow doesn't immediately spring to mind as the ideal artist for a story with a female protagonist, and that's probably a good thing. Those fantastic preview pages suggest his incarnation of Anderson has a functioning zipper and will shower in private.

Slightly surprised to see no Grant involvement, and while he obviously doesn't own the character it'll certainly be odd - and very interesting. Very pleased to see that neither cover is remotely boobtastic - very commendable, but again, mildly surprising.

Very good point - also neither is the interior art (no surprise from Critchlow) - very good to see.
