I use a hosting site called photo bucket, though there are plenty of others
if you upload to that then you can get a link
back here click on the mona lisa icon (insert image) in post reply tool bar and paste the link in between the (img) brackets

does that help?

Open an account with one of these lads:

Scan or save your artwork onto the hard drive of your computer, then drag and drop that file into your photobucket/imgur account. Once the file is transferred to your account on the image hosting site, use the EDIT function on the site to adjust the size of your image to no more than 750 in width, to ensure it's the proper size to be displayed on this forum.

Your image will be assigned a web address by the image hosting site (it appears next to the image, or you can right click on the image to view the file and copy the address from there. Copy this address to the pasteboard of your computer (ctrl + C), go to the 2000ad forum and click REPLY on this thread. Copy the web address of your file from the image hosting site into the body of your reply (ctrl +V).

If you want to make the image visible (rather than just a clickable link) highlight the web address in your post and then click on the icon on the far left of the second row of the menu above (the one which looks like the Mona Lisa). Click the PREVIEW button below your post to make sure the image is going to appear the way you want it to.
