It isn't Skullmo's fault that Gallagher doesn't know how to spell his own name.

It's a joke. I was joking.

Leigh's talk about Defoe's weight was an interesting sideline and not something mentioned often when we talk about 2000ad characters (I always liked he seemed like a man who enjoyed pie, mash and some ales inbetween killling zombies). Great tips for storing art, the art school cabinet sounds very fancy and the castle comment did make me chortle. After reading the horror story about the Zenith page, glad you guys highlighted it, lets hope its never repeated.

30 minutes of great listening, thanks!

Oh and I won one of the competitions! Go me! PM sent!

Nice episode, chaps.

Re the Dan Dare page, it was published in a fanzine called "Spaceships Away", one of the aims of which was, and still is, to publish new stories using the style, layouts and logos of the 1950s version. Some of the artists who worked on the original Dare -- Don Harley, Keith Watson -- have contributed. High quality stuff. The page that sold must look glorious in the flesh. caught up (after a holiday away from wi-fi) on the last 3 episodes.

I laughed, i cried, well actually I just listened to a very engaging podcast as ever, good job gents.

Enjoyed the walk around the convention and the various comments from the artists.

The 'just missed out on the item bid by some pence' ebaywatch joke was wearing thin BUT it was re-energised by the comment to use a pound in the car park , if you change it up each time, the joke will be bearable.....!

Skullmo's turn to do a solo act this time, as I go missing in strange circumstances.... Or I go on holiday... It's one or the other...

A big old interview with Pye Parr on this one. Lovely...
