NYCC single figure release didnt have any numbers given. Those did show up on Ebay in decent numbers at a price I grumbled about but not that much. Bike set limited to 50 pieces   Hopefully proper fans at the con will get a good chunk of them. Scalpers that pick up the rest will have a field day on Ebay.

I've asked on Mezco's FB if they are planning a single bike release later. I'm not hopeful on a reply tbh, even if it is to be released later its unlikely they would admit it until after SDCC. Asked if any implications for the Navy blue set as well, any reply I'll post.

K believe the Navy Blue set will be a Mezco Toyz exclusive. Wish we'd get the Nacy Blue Dredd sans bike however.

Had a brief PM from Mezco. No plans for a single release on the b/w bike. No reply/comment on news of the blue set.

Maybe we could whip up a storm of protest and let them know these variants are very much wanted. If they can make 50 they can make 500 or a 5000. Sell them like 3A do with payment up front. Same with the Navy blue set if it doesnt see light of day.

Am I wrong in thinking there are plenty of folks who want to add the black and white bike and the Navy set in future ?

After investing over £500 in Mezco Dredd/Lawmaster combo's this tiny 50 issue size feels like a smack in the face.......maybe I'm just anal but collecting isnt near as much fun if its made nigh on impossible to complete. I'm guessing the odd sets that show up on US Ebay will be $500-600, add customs and its getting silly. Pop Culture Shock Urban Dredd or a third bike variant ?

And yes, I've got nothing better to do with my time today than whinge about little plastic men

I have always been a believer that the limited run is the home to scalpers. I still remember when the Mondo Dredd poster went live and was sold out in seconds. Obviously before hand quite a few were listed on ebay for sale at 3 times the price, how is that possible!

Scalpers are both the bane and the saviours of collectors. When they take short packed toys off shelves in Supermarkets and toy shops they deprive the kids for a profit which is sad.

When they scoop up exclusives, folks who cant attend the cons get a choice. Buy it at inflated prices and see the process repeated over and over. 'But' get the toy/collectible. 'or' Do without the toy/collectible only to see it sell anyway....and then see others photos online and feel even worse.

On a more positive note Mezco just Pm'd to say the Navy set will still be released. Not sure I want it if I cant have the full set. Toys well and truly out of pram

I'll wake up tomorrow and not tell the missus...obviously. I'll be ashamed at the price I paid, hate myself for being weak. When it lands there will be a moment of euphoria, photos shared. And then like all the other things I've bought on a whim and overpaid I'll say never again !

Wow that's hugely expensive on eBay.  I felt bad paying £220 for the px version. Not a chance in paying that!

Last thing I want to do is stump up big money for this set if there'll be a cheaper option in 3 months time!!
