Someone actually says where Milo disappeared to after the first series.

Six Feet Under?

Hopefully more chats between the Pres and his son... I'm missing them

You missed the bit where the pres pushes his son off the boat during their fishing trip and hold his head underwater then?

Quirkafleeg

Ah this is total geekdom but there is a very subtle and obscure connection between 24 and 2000AD ... a small prize for anyone that gets it

ukdane

Well, how obscure do you want?

For example:
24 stars Kiefer Sutherland.
Who was in Young Guns II, with Viggo Mortensen,
Who was in LOTR, with Hugo Weaving,
Who was in Matrix, with Keanu Reaves,
Who is rumoured to be staring in Hellblazer as John Constantine,
Which is a DC Comic, written and drawn by many people who have also written and drawn for...
2000ad!

Quirkafleeg

Oh it's much more obscure than that... and it's only two steps

Oddboy

It's simpler than that ukd -

They both start with the number "2".
Better set your phaser to stun.

ukdane

or, from Viggo Mortensen, you can then go...
..he was in The Young Americans,
which was written and directed by Danny Cannon, who also directed the Judge Dredd movie.
(and in case you didn't know, Judge Dredd appears in 2000ad!)

(Reading through IMDB) Xander Berkley, George Mason in 24, seems to have appeared in a number of sci-fi/comic related films and tv. I'm quite suprised.
One of his films he played a character called Preacher McMahon- but will all know McMahon is a god like figure, and not a mere preacher!

(Reading through IMDB) Xander Berkley, George Mason in 24, also played a character called DeMarco in "Stroytelling". And appeared in Judgement Day (T2 to you and me).

Is this the link?

You are very keen, Dane!

Think comics, think characters, think first series, think very very obsure.

ukdane

Got nothing better to do with my day today ;-)

Gaines (one of the baddies in series 1) is also the surname of the creator of MAD comic.... er, can't connect further.

Here's another one.
Eric Balfour's character in the first season of 24 was called Milo.
Milo was the same user ID as a certain Droid... until his identity was revealed. :-(

Teri Bauer was a graphic artist... who once worked as a colourist for Dark Horse comics... which is currently printing Dredd vs Aliens.
