Seems to be a lot of very good painting going on. Digging ya copper pipes, why shouldn't the Falcon have copper pipes?

The thing I find strange that it requires quite so much work? Do you get the paints as part of the deal?

Tell you what though, the best thing about this thread??  I was indeed tempted, but thought, 'nah', it'll not be that good, and I don't fancy doing the drip feed of parts.....but on checking DeAgostini's web site, I see you can buy complete kits from previous runs...... and due to this thread, I might just go ahead and buy one when you can get it in one hit!

That's a lot of money in one hit! I find the drip feed of parts gives me chance to keep up with just an hour here or there when I've got the spare time. That said, go for it! It's an incredible kit and I still can't quite get my head around how HUGE this thing is going to be!

For me, I want it all in one go.  It'll cost the same, but I can then work at my own pace.  The hugeness, and the pics you've been posting of just how detailed it is, is what makes me raise an eyebrow!  Plus, get it all in one kit, and it's way easier to fit a lighting kit to add that wee bit extra sparkle!

Are you building it in a place where you will be able to get it out of the room without talknig the wall down?

I was just wondering - how long do you get out of each parts delivery? Is it a good, satisfying couple of hours or is it all over too quickly, leaving you desperate for the next fix?

I'm talking about the model you at the back!

I've never sat down and gone through the 4 packs in one sitting, I try to limit myself to one a week to make it last the whole month so I don't end up drumming my fingers impatiently and tutting at the postie! I would guess though that you'd get a good couple of hours out of it sometimes longer if you're painting and/or modifying as you go along as I am.
