Well look, it's your life and I'm in no position to criticize it, but if you've had a bad experience with one professional and/or medication, maybe you could get another opinion?  Your constant hassles with payment services,  the banks and their cards, things going missing making you think people are in messing with your stuff, even humorous wardrobe malfunctions... these all seem to me like things you could do without, and also things that could be solved by talking to the right person. My head has been in these places too, so I'm not trying to make fun of you here, just suggesting that you shouldn't stop looking for a solution...

Getting out of your home town is another problem entire, but would you might be better able to look at if the other stuff was fixed.

TS,  just what Tordel has said. All of the things that you are experiencing are indicative of a psychological condition which is entirely treatable. It necessitates that you commit to the professional advice given and stick with it. Many people whom you know have undergone similar experiences and after actively engaging in the help that is out there, get over the road block and dea positively l with the day to day impedimentia of leading a life. Can I just clarify that I was absolutely not, on any level, laughing at you TS. I genuinely enjoy your colourful posts but, as others have said, it is important that you get the right help. We wouldn't want anything to happen to you buddy...

TS - as I said earlier, I thought your story was funny but if you feel like it's a symptom of deeper issues you're probably best to take the advice of fellow forum members who have some knowledge and experience with these kinds of problems.

Having said that, at the risk of seeming callous, I think it's important for everyone to be able to laugh at life.
TS - I want to be able to engage with you when you tell stories like this about your life - I don't want every response to your posts to be a choice between saying 'seek help' or ignoring you. I want to laugh with you, not at you.
Please keep writing your posts but stay away from the sexual stuff and DO NOT buy a gun!

Nor was I for that matter. I'm just far less seasoned than certain members on such matters despite being somewhat at the end of my own struggle with anxiety and it's awful kin.

I'm with you on the anxiety / d-word thing Hawkmonger, it's probably going to be a lifelong battle at this stage but thanks to professional help, self help techniques and indeed medication I'm far, far  better than I used to be.
I am a scatterbrain like TS too,  but that doesn't seem to be a product of the other maladies because no matter what I do it never seems to go away.
