I beg to differ, I think it's very very well written, and funny (over here it's described as a comedy series).

I like the fact that there is a plot, each season takes the viewer to a conclusion. I also like the fact that the characters actions do actually have reprocussions. The character development has been great throughout the series.

I'm just not a fan of American tv sci-fi full stop, yhey all come across as over glossy yet somehow cheap at the same time. Give me good old 70's British sci-fi anytime.

The Big Man

I take it you've either never watched Buffy or you're actually thinking of Charmed.

Willow visiting Angel-ville in season 7, and Faith (I think) visiting Sunnydale.

As for the quality of the show.  Season 6 was pretty pap overall, but the new season is more of a return to form (and the bit with Dawn in the house last night was pretty scary.  It reminded me of an old episode of Soap which scared the poop out of me at the time).

But while it lasted Buffy was one of the better shows on TV and I will miss it when it is gone.
