wife made redundant
fine for going to the dentist (FYI no longer eligible for Dental treatment if unemployed have to be on i come support not jobseekers so keep an eye out for that. this is a new thing that i wasn't aware of.)
dad got cancer
fridge broke
washing machine caput
kitchen sink cracked
tax demand for £1133 and fine of £161 incoming (because i put things in wrong boxes)

Any day now i'm expecting to be wrongly accused of either pedophilia or murdering someone.

One, and possibly three of those are not 'first world problems'. Hate that kind of perfect storm of stomm, it magnifies each aspect through some awful interference pattern.  Hope your Dad gets through okay,  your missus gets a better job, and the rest sorts itself out. And vent away, I know all too well what a useful release it can be.

Neither redundancy or dad getting cancer are 'first world problems'.  The financial ones would depend on how much money you have left over afterwards for general cost of living.  Either way, hope things improve soon.

Hey, y'all didn't need to reply but i thank you anyway. Nice to have a vent acknowledged.

yeah, i was pretty down yesterday and i know first world problems wasn't the right title but it reflected the majority of the issues.
As for my dad. I felt guilty because i experienced grief and yet it is him that has he problem not me. it truck me as selfish. that is why I lumped it with FWP.

But yeah...it all came on top because of lack of funds exacerbated by a cheap bottle of whiskey which helped but the money should have been saved etc.

I'm not the most prolific of poster but I've been here for many years. Thanks for listening.

but my dad has finished his treatment and the prostate cancer has dropped from 80% to less than 20%.
