I went trick or treating for the first time ever. Too young as a kid for it to be a thing and its taken until now for my kids to be old enough. So yeah that was a thing, quite enjoyed it and my wife had checked Mum's Net etiquetter on the whole thing so all quite civilised.

Anyway when we got back we lite the pumpkin

WOW, Seems Halloween has began to become a fun festival.
when i left the UK it was no where near what it appears to be now.

I spent Halloween avoiding the little Trick or Treating little folk while on my way to meet a friend for coffee. I spent rest of evening catching up on Doctor Who and I made a start on a couple horror series on Netflix. Namely the second series of From Dusk Till Dawn and American Horror Story: Freak Show.  I watched more episodes of both yesterday.

Both were enjoyable. I've read negative reviews concerning the latter but any show that has the audacity to have a German diva performing a 70s David Bowie track in a 50s setting with an unusual backing band (none who appear to be playing the electric guitar riff) gets a thumbs up for me.

Depends what part of the UK you were in. It's always been quite a big deal up here.
