Santa twisted into horrible delight as only Kev 'Killer' O'Neill can vs Colin ' Two Covers' MacNeill's first entry - he's so good it one cover wasn't enough for him. Who will win in the ultimate death match between the [prefix]Neill twins???

Vote by simply popping the year you think has the best cover in a reply to this thread. No messing about this round just 2 DAYS this round and I'll close up voting first thing Saturday 12th December (if my timings are right?!?). Count up and the top cover will go through to the semi-finals.

Any questions just ask.

When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Old age is the Lord's way of telling us to step aside for something new. Death's in case we didn't take the hint.

Voting against MacNeil makes the baby Jovus cry. But even so, freak-out weirdo-stuff beats tasteful character work in my book,  so O'Neill's 1984 it is.

Like my initial instinct is 1984 but then looking at the background of 1990 more closely, I do love a queue of 2000AD characters all looking a bit nervous about wondering what they might actually get from Tharg...

Chopper, are you sure you want to get a new series for Christmas...?

Yeah, sticking with 1990.

I, Cosh

Not sure how anybody could think there is something more festive than a grotesque O'Neill Santalien. 1984 is going all the way to the final.
We never really die.

The Christmas 1984 cover is pure unadulterated 2000AD.
I will never vote against it.

Going against the grain here and putting my vote for 1990
