VOTING CLOSED

Relatively quiet this one as it run over the weekend when this place always seems to wind down a little but even so the result was never in any real doubt and the scores were pretty clear.

1992 - 11

2015 - 3

Meaning 1992 joins 1982, 1984 and 1985 - blooming heck folks we're turning into Facebook rallying against anything that appears outside the original golden age! Still these are some fantastic cover and I'm looking forward to this getting down to the really hard calls.

Semi finals start in the morning.

The true meaning of Thargmas.

Sorry! I tend to leave the forums alone over the weekend to avoid accustations of ignoring 'family time', whatever that is...

I'd've voted for 2015 here, for all the difference it would've made.
I still don't get the 'St Peter Root' joke. Is/was he a footballer or a Coronation Streeter?

Barrington Boots

I didn't get that either. I googled him and there's a Peter Root artist (who is worth looking up!) but that's the only one I could find and it seemed a bit niche for a cover gag..?
You're a dark horse, Boots.

I would have voted 1992. An image still reused to this day.
