The Cobbett?  I don't think I know that one.

I've tended to only go in the student friendly ones that don't have signs like "Art Student: Don't let me catch yo' ass in this bar" on the doors.  I also have friends who work at the Plough (one of the "It's a Scream" chain) where you can almost die of gluttony on a fiver.

Nice one! Never managed to quite finish that I don't think. They had it in my local so I was usually too drunk to play it properly. Ace game though. Made it to the end of Double Dragon once though, me and a mate, on 20p each!

The best S&B combo is, without a doubt, one of the cheaper ciders (say White Lightning) in a 3 litre bottle; 4-8 tins of the cheapest supermarket lager available (preferably with alcohol content > 3%); a bucket; and a bloody great bottle of Ribena to kill the taste.

Get the whole family smashed for under a tenner!

Merrydown and Special Brew (or Tennents Super Lager), charmingly known as Leg-openers round my old manor must also be up there in the Snakebite Hall of Fame.

But they pale into insignificance next to the ultimate pre-party drink of years past - vodka and Benilyn (Night Nurse also acceptable).

I used to find that a combo of buckfast, tennants super lager and merrydown was enough to flatten a charging rhino. Especially first thing in the morning.
