Shooting for Noah Hawley's Alien TV Show rescheduled.

It seems plans for beginning shooting the Alien TV show have come unstuck, with filming now to be carried out later. We won't see any Alien TV series till 2023.

I honestly have stopped caring about all these bloated franchises and extended-universe spin-offs. Star Wars did it for me, but I just can't muster any enthusiasm for new Matrix, Predator, Alien etc.

I remember hearing a review of Prometheus along the lines of; if the studio had approached me and asked what new direction I could take the Aliens franchise in, I wouldn’t have a good answer for them. Looks like Ridley Scott didn’t either.

I think that could be applied to Terminator, Predator, Ghostbusters or whatever other 80s/90s has a drop of milk yet to be squeezed out. I'm surprised they haven’t made the Sixth Element yet.
