Oh damn missed this but in the end had settled on Necropolis. I wanted to go with Tour of Duty but that would have denied Dead man and I couldn't do that!

I've just reread Day of Chaos for the first time since it was published. Absolutely superb, and utterly brutal. Every time Dredd and his gang figure out what the bad guys are up to, it's just too late, and things get worse and worse. What with Covid and the whole related 'fake news' and anti lockdown phenomena, it would be far too close to the bone to publish today.
