OK this is already gettin complicated. There are already two threads about this subject and I've just added another.

A few things we need to sort out:-
a. Who's goin' to the pub.

b. Which pub are we goin to, I've never been to Bristol and don't want to end up in Bristols very own 'Blue Oyster Club'.

c. What evening are we talkin here. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, All, etc...

d. How we will recognise eachother.
Well thats gonna be fairly easy. Just look for the sad fanboys with the pale skin. If were meeting on Saturday night just diplay your goodie bag with pride and that'll attarct everyone else like moths to a flame. I'm the slightly overweight, slightly balding middle aged Irish man wearing a ximoc.co.uk t-shirt.

Any, there's the official hotel the City Inn, the hotel where the talks, special events and Friday night launch party is to be held, The Holiday Inn. If its Saturdaythere's the convention pub the Reckless Engineer.

I'd suggest Friday, before the hangovers set in.

OK now, just to complicate matters more a Saturday night would suit me better as I don't know which day I'm flying in on (Fri or Sat, havn't book the flight yet), but I will defo be there on Saturday, as most people will.

So instead of moving the session to Saturday why not have it on BOTH evenings. Just a thought.

And also any chance of meeting up DURING the festival, a crazy idea I know but seeing as the festival is the reason we're all going to Bristol in the first place I thought it would be an idea.

I honestly think that attending the pfficial events is a good idea, it supports the con (who cares) and means no-one will have conflicting plans, everyone around us will be similarily weird and well, why not.  Most importantly of all it keep sthe plan simple.
