Ed, is there some kind of stalking thing going on here, because I absolutley love this movie, too.

I notice the festival has 'childrens entertainment'!
Now what the hell does that mean?
Will they be dancing round a maypole, and singing?

If there is you can add PVS and me to your stalkers list. On a related note, has anyone else here heard the cover version of "How Do" by Hartlepool's finest tunesters "Sneaker Pimps" on their Becoming X album? If not track it down 'cos it's a belter. It also includes dialogue samples from the film.

Weirdly related wickermanesque note: I just drove down the M5 yesterday on my way to a wedding in Devon (hurrah) and blow me if there's not this big fuckoff sculpture figure thingy made out of wicker. Very odd.

Even more strangeness abound... I didn't know about the Sneaker Pimps material, but I was intending to produce my own track with dialogue from the movie!

It's a fantastic movie, although many of the US people on the Jaws site didn't take to it!

...and what a great soundtrack, there's a great extended version now available on Silva Screen records, with a non album exclusive track for free download on their web page!

Actually met Director Robin Hardy in Manchester a few years back.
