In this week's input page, Tharg replied to a letter saying that art droids Johnson and Roach (of Killer fame) are working on a top secret project.

I wonder if this is Rogue Trooper?

Could be...

Then again it might be Helter Skelter 2!

God save us from more Tor Cyan strips, Friday might have been a wuss, but anything's better than the laughable current state of Rogue Trooper.

Rumour has it Rogue is returning to the war torn  hell of Nu Earth....maybe courtesy of Johnson and Roach?

I must admit I did like John Tomlinson's Armoured Gideon (remember that?) but he hasn't really done much else since that has been good.
Mercy Heights was ok but book 2 had to be put out of its mercy!:O)

As for Tor Cyan, there doesn't seem to be any structure to his writing. It seems to be going nowhere fast!
Will we ever find out what the real connection is between Tor and Rogue?
Does anyone even care?:O)

  Not that I care, but I vaguely remember either a mercy heights(yeah, book one was alright) or a Tor Cyan one-off where he visited some GI memorial, possibly on nu-earth, which just servrd to stress that hewas a 'real' GI. I think that this was just to establish him as being the next rogue trooper, not that it really worked as he has nothing to be rogue about(is a mohawk really acceptable as an indicator of rebelliousness? On a sixteen year old maybe..).

I don't know about the nothing to do with Rogue bit, Tor Cyan did have a crushed bio chip in his hand that did bear the name Rogue. Although I would love to see the return of the original Rogue, I hope the Tor Cyan strip does it explain the connection.

The Tor Cyan memorial story was in the great Prog 2000. The 100 page special Dec 99 to Jan 2000. Art droid Dave 'don't call me ape' Gibbons did the art.

Tor is related to Rouge Trooper. Or is it Rogue?
I can never remember.
Anyway he is some distant relative, who for some bizarre reason didn't know he was a GI, until some bright reader spotted a physical similarity when reading book one of Mercy Heights.
Mr Tomlinson then decided to create a tenuous link beteen the two characters.

But we all know Tor is related to Kano. They even wear a similar eye patch thingy.

Anyway rumour has it Tor is set to meet Friday, who is having lunch with Tuesday while Sunday is blah blah blah...

I have to say despite my almost insane burning hysterical rage at all the crap that's been dumped in the blue part of the spectrum in the past I actually quite liked that Rogue Trooper Special in Prog 2000.  

It looked bloody amazing, cheers Dave.  Tor Cyan was an unwelcome fly in the mashed potato though, if you just forget who he is, it reads great though.  I think it should have actally been the cloned body of Johnny Alpha painted blue, containing the transplanted mind of Sam Slade, with a potato grafted onto him.
