There's a good'un in Putney, on Lower Richmond Road (I think) near the Half-Moon: 30th Century Comics. Small shop upstairs, nice big cellar downstairs, crammed. Friendly staff with a sense of humour.

But if you don't like that kind of service...

There's a comic doings on Lavender Hill, Clapham. But they haven't got much 2000AD, they're expensive, and the fat old miserable twat that usually works there, probably owns and runs the place, is a fat old miserable twat. So I give it a wide berth on me way to me studio. Shame really, 'cos I could spend far too much in there if it weren't for the aforementioned git. He's that rude and miserable it's really put me off from going in. Except to fart. I did that once, just to get me own back like. Dropped a large one and nearly followed through, but it was worth it. I was out on the Guiness the night before and had just had a fry up in a nearby cafe.

Trout

Fred, is that why they called London the Big Smoke?

The shop Mangamax is referring to is called Comicana, it's next to the Umbrella shop.
It's a couple of minutes walk East down New Oxford St from Tot Court Rd station / FP.
Better set your phaser to stun.
