Wake

Conrad King was a veteran - an old Hero brought out of retirement after the crash.

Zack was a hot-headed street kid, they spotted messing up someone elses game with a homemade (or maybe just overcharged) jet pack.

Crikey.

Thanks to everyone who's replied, with answers ranging from "there was that guy who was a brain in a jar, I think" to complete team listings, including prog numbers of the episodes each player died in, the names of the teams they played against, including the match scores.

It's for a one-off story for the Meg - as someone pointed out today in another thread, the Harlem Heroes are in Dredd continuity - although it's not a Dredd story.

No plans to bring back the Harlem Heroes.  If there was, even I would probably get off my arse to do the research myself, instead of lazily getting the kind souls here to do it.

Thanks again.

Anyone seen the Harlem Globetrotters' cartoon?

It's fantastic! They all have special powers and everything.

What about the Harlem Globetrotters team who appeared in Futurama?

"You bet against the Harlem Globetrotters!... oh no the're using a ladder, that's gotta be against the rules!"
