Hi all. I have Issues numbered from 1 to 72. The only one i'm missing is Issue 54. Any one have any sort of idea how much this collection would be worth? Oh, i don't have the free gifts that were on the first three issues, apart from that they are all in good condition. Thanks.

Priceless, obviously but...

...hard to say, but I'd say they'd be 'worth' anything up to ?300. Depends though. Have a look on ebay, there's always old progs there and you'll get the idea. For selling the lot I'd say you'd easy get ?200. Sell them individually and who knows. 1,2,3,71 and 72 will get you the most.

Selling old comics is illegal though, I hope you know that? 3 months minimum.

I actually have an official letter from 2000AD informing me that one issue alone is worth ?200!! So i'm sure the whole collection must be worth over ?300.

Really? I take it that'd be prog 2, but you'd need the free gift with it for sure. Never seen/heard of a no.1/2 going for more than 100 without the free gift. Absolute Mint condition only I'd think.

As I say, that's an 'at least' figure really. I don't want to dictate prices or anything, ebay's a fairly good way to judge current prices though.

There's no way either prog 1 or prog 2 are worth ?200 without the free gifts.

This would be my valuation for insurance purposes, because it is what I would charge you if you commissioned me to replace them.

Prog 1 ?100 - no spinner
Prog 2 ?100 - no biotronic stickers
Prog 3 (no red alert wallet), 71, 72 ?20 each

Prog 4-20 ?5 each = ?85
Progs 21-70 ?2 each = ?100

Total = ?445
