Another "paying undue notice to the thrill-suckers" moment:

Chronos Carnival: The Caverns of Colony Five doesn't have a double-length last episode; prog 699 has two individual episodes in it, so it is a six-parter. Also the terrifying caption: MORE CHRONOS CARNIVAL SOON!, which proved to be untrue.

The profile page for the Dredd story "Won't You Come Home Bill Bailey" (723-726) has this notation:

"Post-Necropolis story. Originally written as post-Apocalypse War story"

It's about a group of citi-def units who went underground during the Sov occupation of MC-1 and emerge nine years later, convinced the Sovs have won. That is, it is still a post-Apocalypse War story, so what does the notation mean?

I believe it was written with the intention of being published shortly after the Apocalypse War and the scripts sort of hung around.
