And the utterly wonderful soundtrack is another reason to just fall at its (metaphorical) feet and love it to death. Absolutely the best music ever put to film, and a CD that I can listen to again and again on repeat from now til doomsday.

A crying shame that the "Universal Monsters Reborn in a Modern Stylee" idea was so spectacularly buggered by 'Wolf' and then 'The Mummy', else we may at last have gotten to see John Carpenter's rumoured 'Creature from The Black Lagoon'.

my favourite carry on is the one where they work for the toilet company called crappers inc, some of them are a bit camp really

u cant beat abbott and costello meets frankenstein

but could do with a colour version (as long as its not really bright like the laurel and hardys)
