You know...I think we may have gone too far.

I love a Monkey in a hat as much as the next man but for Monkey in a hat to be eligable for voting, and for it to be allowed to get higher than so many great strips? Well, it makes me feel ashamed.

So let's all love the monkey in a hat but not allow it to spoil the charts.

In all fairness I think when something intrudes on a chart like that it's an in-joke too far. I think it's a little intrusive into an otherwise serious part of the site to be honest.
