Okay we've pretty much discussed boarders taste in everything from music to ladies underwear, we've got a general profile which involves goatie beards & being over weight & bald... although most of you arent. we know that all the board girls can knock seven shades of shiv outta big heavy blokes but... how are you attired from day to day & why ? are you all default jeans over your archetypal beer guts? or all punky goths? who except Dudley wears pinstripes?

its just that i chortled when i saw in mirror today just what sub-human scruffitude i have sunk to, i just can't be bothered, & its very comfortable thankyou very much, tho i might brush my hair today. today (this month) i will mostly be wearing my dads cast-off work combats, my life/office lives in the pockets & theyre down to my knees with being to big, and theyre muddy. and i don't give a flicking rats avse.

so what about you well preened city folks ? and the rest o yous?

When I'm at work I'm afraid its a shirt and tie job for me (no suit though).

Drives the wife nuts for the ironing at the weekend but she won't let me do it for some reason.

The skin of a fat prostitute. This is the internet after all.

Days: Suit, cause of work and I like it too.
At home and weekends: Practical slobbing clothes, cause of playing with the boy and doing odds and sods around the place.
Out: jeans and sommat, cause I'm not too bothered what people think.

Priv8eye; You get the wife to Iron on weekends?  What is the strange hold you have over her and can you let us have the secret please?

Oddboy

Usually (to work) shirt (various colours, red, blue, dark purple... white's just too School, y'know?
Occasionally a tie, like once every blue moon when I feel like checking if I can remember how to tie them.
Trousers - usually pin-striped, cause I've got a really nice pair. But this week I've been mainly wearing black jeans - like pitch-black black, because me pin-stripes where still damp in the tumbledryer on Monday morning & nobody really cares what we wear here.
Boots or trainers for me feet - today trainers.
And a jumper, cause it's winter.
+black scarf, black hat & long black leather coat for outside.

Weekends: pj's if I can get away with it, otherwise, jeans/cords/t-shirt combo.

I used to wear waistcoats a lot, but I left them all at my parents house when I moved out, but I picked 'em up again at Christmas because I've been meaning to get back into them.
Better set your phaser to stun.

Work : Is meant to be smart casual.  But well lately Ive taken to wearing a suit without a tie or trousers and a smart shirt.  It means I feel much better when I take it off at night.  I suppsoe in psychological mumbo jumbo it marks the end of the day and it does make the right impression, we all have to get on you know!

Other:  Jeans, cords, t-shirts.  I suppose it could be skate/surf gear but Im getting a little old for that, so feck knows ask someone whose met me :)

And big blue overalls for DIY

At work it's a suit and tie, but non-work wear generally consists of combats, Doc's, t-shirt, hoodie and either denim jacket, leather jacket or huge RAF great coat depending on the weather.

Wearing a suit to work makes it nicer and easier to relax when I get home and can change into my normal clothes. I don't feel a complete square at work, though, as I still keep my jewellery on and piercings in, which keeps me feeling like 'me'.

Dudley

who except Dudley wears pinstripes?

Can I sue for defamation of character over the net?  Pinstripes: p'chaa!
[Meant to be a spitting noise, probably doesn't make sense]

...Dudley

Currently wearing tattered jeans, boots, unfashionable "Don't Attack Iraq" T-shirt & very very big coat.

Admittedly if I were in work I'd be wearing head-to-toe M&S finest suitwear, but that's hardly the issue.

DavidXBrunt

Jeans and a T-shirt mostly. Sometimes I'll wear a shirt if I've nothing else clean.

Daytime Job = Shirt and Tie (and trousers of course)

DJing = Casual Shirt/Jeans

Minging around at home = Sweatshirts/Jeans.

In the Shower = Nude.

smartish casual most of the time..work from home..though back to office soon...cor...shirt and tie..thats gonna be strange...er..sometimes degenerate into unshaven slob after few days of 'cant be arsed' and walking around in tracksuit...then i have a bath and shave...

Although I did wear a jaunty Carnation behind the ear at work today which I thought made me look quite the dapper so and so. I might adopt that on a more permanant basis.
