Huzzah! I've been following this in the press for ages. Yer (naked) man Gough finally reached John O'Groats on Thursday.

 I love this kind of thing. Its like one of Wagner's Mega Citizens has stepped living and breathing out of the pages of 2000 into our world.

Here's to free expression, nekkid or otherwise.

Is there anybody else been following this? Whats yer thoughts?

Yes I've been willing him on these past months and in todays Daily Mail they had a rundown of the highs and lows of his mammoth event..it shocked me to see how he has been particularly persecuted in Scotland..arrested many times and sentanced to a month in prison..I thought Scottish law was more sensible than English law but it seems I was wrong..more nudist escapades are in order!

i dunno Arthur, i mean ive done my share of public skinnying at festivals, beaches etc, i don't give a shite ( AYE shuttit you lot ! i'm trying to make a point here saddos ), but this complulsion to make a big deal of it is odd isnt it.... i mean yes attitudes are ridiculous, but i can think of better things to spend my life campaigning about.

one of my old mates, got in touch after years & is now into naturism & ruding nekkid clubs... i had to stop myself loudly guffawing, but its all so tragic, what is it with this need to be nekkid with other naturist nerds ? ? this guy used to be a lonely sad soul & learnt aromatherapy, but there was always something dubious " can i practice massage on you ? ".... " NO !!!", so i'm cynical me, get nekkid or don't whatever, but don't form a f*cking club you saddos !

though it has to be noted. as the years go by,more and more potentail mega city populace seem to be either more common or more open in their views.
internet making the world realise they are not a single wierd person,just another of a huge group.

Personally, I don't see the big deal about naked bodies.
I can't understand how some people can get offended by the site of someone with no clothes on, I mean, how do the take a bath? In the bloody dark!?
NOw, don't get me wrong, I'm not a naturist by any stretch of the imagination, but I've no problem wandering around in the buff (too much information..?)

Besides, as I understand it, it is not illegal to be naked in public, as long as you are not doing it to offend people.

He must have started off in the summer.  He came through here ages ago.  There were a few wry chuckles in the pub, and it is a very old and conservative crowd in our local (except when I'm there of course), but no-one seemed to take great offence.

But yeah he must have been freezing!  Where did he stay?  Bet his loathing of clothing didn't extend to dreading bedding!

Good luck to him, but why he should want to do it is beyond me.

I have no problem with nudity, or nudists, but I agree with Art. There's something not-quite-right about people doing something like this. I wouldn't stop him doing it or anything, but if I knew him personally I'd be pretty concerned!!

and lets face it , its not very practical to have it all hanging out, appart from swimming , sunbatheing & pottering about... I mean even wearing shorts here in the summer means yur legs get cut to shredds by the heather.. being skyclad is all good & well, but i'd rather do battle in big pants with pockets & belts thankyou.
