Noticed in the Loser comic ads for two new films:

Hellboy
TheTrailer for this looked good except Hellboys the 'goggles', any of our colonial cousins seen this yet?

and

Van Helsing starring Kate Beckinsale and Hugh Jackman

any one know if this is a duffer? It looks like the suits have  combined Strider, Blade,LOEG and carry on Screaming

Saw a poster for Van Helsing at a cinema the other week.

Is this supposed to be a prequal to Dracula or something? Helsing's supposed to be a bit of an old codger, so with Hugh Jackman in the title role, I assume it's set before Dracula.

Van Helsing: Hugh Jackman vehicle designed to be a good fun old-fashioned romp.  Think b-movie horror/actioner plot but with more expensive special effects.  Looks rather fun.

Just got back from seeing Big Fish.  I really, really, really, *really* enjoyed it.
