i have set up a 2000ad league on celebdaq if anyone would like to join,

i have also set up a 'mean arena minors' league for new members as well - who are just starting out

as im sure u all know the idea is u buy shares in favourite celebrity and get dividends according to newspaper footage, no payouts on people who their own jobs (so sports dont get payouts for sports pages or sporting activities, politicians dont pay out etc)

Ive just signed up, and I haven't a clue what to do.

just watch the papers and listen to the news, great fun real easy (i dont buy a paper, i just look at them in the newsagewnt to see whos on the cover)

shares go up according to how fast people are buyng them but dividends are paid according to the coverage in newspapers

holding shares in your fave celeb is not necessarily the way to go (as i found out the hard way)

oh yeah and they take all your money off u on the monday after u cross a ?1m, turning it into icons and leaving u with ?10,000 to make it fairer to new peeps

so its possible u could be beating next week even though your new

and its really addictive, u just cant leave it alone

yeah, the mistake I made was changing my mind after my initail choice, then selling all my lydon's to invest in Jordans/mcfaddens and Brockets..

before I went to bed I was ?98 down, now, I'm ?130 up, but still have a -0.6 cos of the bad trade in..

I looked into this when it first started but I'm staying well clear, too many distractions as it is... I know a few weeks into this and I'd be bying every tabloid and heat and all the rest to study 'form'...

u soon make it up, u can go from down the bottom to somewhere right near the top in a week

divis are paid thurs to thurs proportionally, u get the virtual money into your account around 6am friday morning

gary, i usually only make a few changes every week when im bored online but they are wll thought out

Bt, u can also vote to list or delist celebs on th home page, make sure u check your not holding any delistees come the fiday weekening or all the money in that person is snafu
