Got the trailer at work.
While it's nice to see them finally using the historical Aurelis Ambrosius as a springboard, and Keira Knightly makes a fetching Pict Guinevere, while the bloody hell do they have to have medieval castles?
And old Merlin too (a Victorian embellishment).
It's an inevitable thing to say but it does look VERY similar to Braveheart - rallying speeches, action set pieces, the whole set-up in fact.
The perspective on that chairs all wrong

"Yonder lies Camalot!"
"It's a cardboard cutout you know!"

In a swift attempt to divert from Monty Python soundbites... "Yonder lies the castle of my fadder"

That's the one for me Arthur.

It is, in many ways, far superior to any other film ever produced at any moment in time.

Quirkafleeg

IS this film coming out in honour of your PI, Art? ;-)

See the trailer here-looks ok to me-but we all know the real Merlin wears a silver skullcap
