Alrighty then, a few threads ago an idea came up, about a series of stories set on Nu-Earth with a group of rookie soldiers trapped behind enemy lines and trying to get back to base. So...anybody fancy a go? We'll need stories and ideas, art and someone to put a web-site together to host it.

No writing experience is needed, the stories could be any length or size, of any nature or style.

If anyone does want to get involved sign up here and I'll get a writers guide together and mail it to you in the next week or so.

The stories would be set during the classic Rogue Trooper continuity but hopefully explore Nu-Earth in a new way, and also be interesting and exciting war stories in their own right.

my professional web-fu skills may come in handy, but i have latent (ie nothing written) scripting skills that are bursting to get out

Yeah, I'll help in any way I can. I don't think my fiction writing would be up to scratch yet, but I'm sure I can handle some non-fiction pieces. If you're not inundated with offers of web design assistance, I'd be happy to help out there as well.

Off the top of my head, you could probably do with the following images for any site design work:

The classic Rogue Trooper logo
The Nort and Souther emblems
The original Rogue credit boxes
The three original biochips

Ideally, you'd want these redrawn in EPS format rather than scanned from the comic. I'm sure there's someone with the skill to do that on the board.

I don't know what the legality of this would be, but I guess you could get Rebellion's take pretty easily :-)

Cheers for the assist people, and the advice Blackblood. I'm assuming that as it's going to be a fan site it'll be okay, and if anyone from Rebellion objects it'll be stopped straight away. There'll be a disclaimer on the site and a link to this one, hopefully, and an add for the weekly. Here's hoping it'll be okay.

Pictures are my thing, and if you go to the latest updates page you will see a little Rogue tale wot woz drawn by my own hands and written by Generally Contrary.

Busy at the mo, so Illos would be preferred to strip requests.

Prose I can do. It's these comic strip things that give me trouble...
