Yeah- that's a good one Gary...

What about the Matrix?

"No, lieutenant, your men are already dead..."
Pffft...

Alien and Aliens are a definate fer me

Star Wars? EMPIRE for me,as ever-release of the probes, focus on the ONE,oooh tingly.

Saving Private Ryan-brings a lump to me throat every time.

And Fellowship of the ring was a fantastic opener

Swordfish,it was a great opening alright.Appearances can be deceptive...

M.(I feel much more comfy with me old icon back)

To tell the truth, you can all get screwed.

Mr C

Kill Bill Vol1.
Blue filter. Close up on the Bride on the floor covered in blood. Bill's slow, calm voice. And the final exclamation.
Sets up the whole film as all good beginnings should.

Yep, Blade Runner, a nice, small preface and then bamn, the synthesizer kicks in and you're there, hovering over a vast cyberpunk cityscape that still looks real today. Amazing.

Tanky

Another one for Star Wars, Fellowship Of The Ring, and Pulp Fiction.
Also, Johnny Depp's entrance in Pirates of the Carribean.

Satanist

Oh just remembered...Cube

Guy walks into a room,Guy gets chopped into cubes by a huge cheesewire mesh!

Lahvley.
Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?

esoteric ed

--Ed, in the bar scene when Carter gets a phone call IIRC. Clear shot of guy holding a pint. With all FIVE fingers in view--

Thanks Chris (Eddie scrambles through DVD collection to find Get Carter disc and look for scene) :-)
