Final Fantasy X-2

Word.
 Well, it's out and i got one. And suprisingly good it is too. Yuna's angels indeed! I love it, most of the grown men here will probably hate it! The costume changes and platform bits are there, as we feared on the 'advent chidren' thread, but they work quite well. Platformy bits are very basic and won't piss you off (so far), costumes are part of the development system and work the way that jobs do in FF11. A bit of a handful (arf!) to start with, but it does keep the battles flowing nicely. Not much to report yet so's i don't accidentally spoil anything, but just thought you'd like to know! Anyone else played?

i will be in civilisation in a week or so, shops! shops! shops!  i may buy this (or FFX - is there a preferance?  Should i play one before the other?)

Play FFX first!! Definitely. It'll fill you in on 'the story so far' etc as well as having at least one very cool character who can't be in X2.

Yeah, you're probably better off playing X first. You could go straight to X2, but bits might not make much sense

Paine is somehow the daughter of a certain character who says things like "your pain shall be twofold" and "Pray...now!"

Carry on - have patience. Cool plot, well worth following through. Then continues in X-2.

we sold out first day we had it over here..... the fools, bloody Barbie and Co. Sorry to me FF games have always been about the multiple characters, only 3 in X2 think I'll give it a miss.

Yeah, 3 characters was a bit of a bugger. You can't give 'em stupid names either. Can't remember the last time i played FF without a 'Twitchy' in the lead role.

My friends main character in FF 7 was called Big Donga.....my how we laughed.
