El S: Lobster only had one series in 2003, he may well be coming back for more but for the purpose of this year, It was a one off!

Bolt-01 Get authoritarian on yo ass!

VampiraJen

"It's too late now, but it's worth noting Lobster Random really shouldn't be in the 'Best One Off Series' category."

yes thats why i went for from grace and not snow/tiger coz the ending left room for a sequal and i'm holding onto hope we'll get it.

Good luck. AFAIK, Dig-L is signed up to a four-year exclusive contract with DC. I'm not sure when it took effect, but I'd reckon on at least another 2-3 years before he's going to be in a position to do any more writing for 2000AD. Same goes for Jock, IIRC.

So, no Snow/Tiger, no Lenny Zero, no nuffink for at least a couple of years, if ever :-(

Incidentally, wouldn't now be a bloody good time to get a Lenny Zero collection out, given the high-profile run by Diggle & Jock on The Losers?

There are three Zero stories to collect, plus two covers & Andy Diggle's original script. I make that about 50 pages. Throw in some of Jock's character design work, perhaps some unused covers or background on the creation of the character & you've got a package that's about the same size as Rebellion's Necronauts TPB.

How about it, Jamie?

Devons Daddy

i filled out each vote without looking at the current totals.

if most managed to do the same. then we now have a reasonable view of the boards taste. many are romping home here.
with ah whole month to go we are in for some really insightful choices with luck.

I AM VERY BUSY!
PJ Maybe and I use the same dictionary, live with it.

NO 2000ad no life!

W. R. Logan

Good to see Boo Cook in the lead for The Chopper award for best "new" Artist, but I was just wondering on the definition of new?

With a whole month left is there a chance there will be a link put on the home page ao that visitors to the 2000 web site who dont frequent the board may notice the awards and take the time to vote.

If someone emails me a 'press release' (possibly coupled with a suitable image or image suggestion) about the Boarder awards I'll add it as a news item.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHRRRGGGGG!!!!

Oddboy

I'm sure it was a 2 year deal with Diggle & Jock - which is probably almost 1 year down already.

Unless it's been extended..?
Better set your phaser to stun.

Dudley

Nice to see that Bec and Kawl, the target of some venom around here, is beating all of these established strips for "best non-dredd series":

ABC Warriors
Armitage
Devlin Waugh
Durham Red
Judge Death
Rogue Trooper
Sinister Dexter
Slaine
Tales of Telguuth
Bendatti Vendetta
VC's
Young Middenface

Why isn't this being promoted in the comic itself, or on the front page of this website at the least?

Slippery PD

Cause Im up to my ears in Real Life and havent written up the blurb to go with it yet....
