Who owns the Storm Force (previously of Battle then Eagle) rights?

I'd love to see some reprints or a few more stories based on the team

EGMOMT probably as they own BATTLE, i like the first feew (and in colour would be nice)

it got crap after a while though

true- I would like some of the Classic Eagle stories from the 80s though reprinted though such as:

Max: The Thirteenth floor (I think that's what it's called- nice take on Hal from 20001:a space oddessy)

Would put Charley's war here, but considering it's already being done, won't complain

Doomlord (though it got weird at the end)

better idea - why not get some of the current bunch of 2000ad's top creators to re-imagine Storm Force for the 21st Century - bingo fried gold

Would (or indeed could) it be any worse than the New Rogue Trooper or the new VC's???

Fo those who don't know what I'm talking about -link at the bottom of the page

But on 2nd thoughts, wouldn't they just be competing with other 'team' books like X-men?

>Doomlord (though it got weird at the end)

And was left hanging! There wasn't really a sense of closure. Maybe they should reprint it and get Alan Grant to write a final series. Go on Rebellion, get the rights to finish Doomlord!

>Max: The Thirteenth floor

That was good to a point - it kinda jumped the shark when he went to the department store and joined MI5... There's a thread somewhere here with a link to the early Scream stories though.

I would also like to see reprinted from Eagle:

Computer Warrior (although it was an extended advert for US gold games, and got really naff towards the end)

   The Tower King
   House of Daemon
Manix (which actually crosses over with Doomlord at one point!)
   Survival
Walk or Die was good, but had a bit of a poor ending - I think it was wrapped up quickly to make room for the merge with Tiger
   Bloodfang

   Umm, probably some others too.

If it isnt an urban myth, then reprint Ant Wars 2!

From Eagle, some of the Dan Dare stuff was great and nicley drawn, and Doomlord was my favourite story for years. Unfotunatly there was also a lot of clag and even Dare got really bad at one stage.
However, Bloodfang, Survivors, some of Manix and at the time Computer Warrior were all stuff I liked. I haven;t seen Eagle for years so I may be hideously wrong in my opinions on the comic, but as ideas for "sponsored" strips go I think Cpomputer Warrior was the best of its kind.

What would a modern day computer warrior script look like anyway?

There aren't many straight arcade games around to be honset- a lot of script based games with FMV but not many aradey stuff that computer warrior excelled at.

one for TOWER KING here, brilliant story and HOUSE OF DOLLMAN

STAR RIDER, DEATH WISH, SURVIVAL, WALK OR DIE were all ended pretty quickly

BLOODFANG is good - the first STORM FORCE story is brilliant, also there was an adventure serial that changed its name every now and then in BATTLE too by the same creative team - they were good, COMPUTER WARRIOR was briliant and considering REBELLIONs roots makes sense
